Guatemala has a population of approximately 12 million people, with more than 70% of the people living below the poverty line. It is estimated that there are over 370,000 orphans in Guatemala. Many of these children come from families burdened with extreme poverty. We will be working to support the efforts of the Children’s Malnutrition Center outside of Antigua, Guatemala. We will be interacting with the children as well as doing some maintenance projects on the facilities.
